Partnerships Are at the Heart of Our Work
Rather than operating a single facility, Paws for Youth (formerly Gabriel’s Angels) is proud to deliver our pet therapy programs at a diverse range of partnering organizations.
By focusing our efforts on partnerships, we reach youth where they already are throughout our central and southern Arizona communities, removing transportation as a potential barrier to services.
We never charge for our visits. Instead, we prioritize building partnerships on shared values to support our young people who need it most.
While we’re always excited to explore new collaboration opportunities, please note that we have a waiting list for new partnerships as the demand for our programs continues to grow.
Our Partner Organizations
We collaborate with youth-serving organizations and schools to serve youth who have experienced trauma or adverse childhood experiences (ACEs). Our partners include:
- Residential treatment and therapeutic facilities
- Title I schools and under-resourced educational partners
- Group homes, kinship care and foster care programs
- Community centers and after-school programs
While we typically focus on ages 6-18, we remain flexible when programs align with our mission, such as extended support services for young adults transitioning out of foster care.
