Choose Where Your Tax Dollars Go!
If you’re an animal lover, consider choosing Paws for Youth (formerly Gabriel’s Angels) for your Arizona Charitable Tax Credit. We’re one of the only animal-related nonprofits designated by the state as a Qualified Charitable Organization (QCO Code 20449).
With your gift, we can reach more kids and teens in our community who are in need of the unconditional love and support of a therapy pet.
Visit the Arizona Department of Revenue for the latest news and updates. Tax circumstances vary greatly, so please consult your tax advisor for specific questions related to your tax situation.

- Watch your email or mailbox for your receipt to include when you file your state income taxes.
- Use Arizona Form 321 when you file (Paws for Youth/Gabriel’s Angels QCO Code is 20449). There’s no need to itemize, and you can claim this credit along with your usual deduction.

What if my tax liability is less than the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit amount?
The Arizona Charitable Tax Credit is a nonrefundable credit, so the total amount of the credit you claim can’t be higher than your state income tax liability. If part of the credit amount you donated was not applied to this year’s taxes, the remaining amount can be carried forward for five consecutive years.
