Become part of a pet therapy community dedicated to transforming young lives!
We serve kids and teens who have experienced significant trauma or adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), so we’re very intentional about the human side of the leash.
We provide all our volunteers with comprehensive training, program curriculum, activity supplies and ongoing support.
All program volunteers must be over the age of 18 and able to obtain a DPS fingerprint clearance card.

Volunteer Without a Pet
You Don’t Need a Pet to Be a PAWSitive Role Model
If you have a heart for kids and teens working to learn coping skills for stress, develop core strengths like teamwork and kindness, and discover they have the resilience to thrive, then you’re in the right place!
We need your help to co-lead activities and discussions, creating smooth and impactful sessions in partnership with a handler and their registered therapy pet. You’ll be a vital member of our volunteer pack, helping create a safe space for youth who have experienced trauma.
